Megan is a Paralegal in the Estates, Trusts, Elder Law and Real Estate practice groups, with over 12 years’ experience working closely with clients, individual and corporate fiduciaries in the administration of estates, trusts and various real estate transactions. Megan also provides administrative support in the estate planning process and for guardianship matters, including, but not limited to, meeting court requirements, marshalling assets, payment of debts, estate tax and fiduciary income tax return preparation, collecting benefits, and assisting with payment of retirement benefits.
Megan also helps clients through the trust administration process, including funding of trusts, and beneficiary distributions.
Megan’s background in writing allows her to be successful in her various communications with both clients and Surrogate’s and Supreme Court staff and attorneys. She finds satisfaction in helping clients through the often-times confusing and overwhelming process of distributing a loved one’s estate, and prides herself on being someone clients can feel comfortable talking to.
